Frank Edozie joined Neconde Energy in February 2017 as Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining Neconde, Frank worked as the Senior Power Consultant at Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility - NIAF (a UK Department of International Development (DFID) Program) from July 2015 to December 2016. From November 2013 to June 2015, Frank was the Senior Special Adviser (Gas) to the Honorable Minister of Power, working as a member of the policy making body charged with responsibility of the Power Sector in the country. Frank was also a member of the team that, in 2013, developed the Nigerian 30-Years National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan which set out the National Blueprint for Infrastructure Development over the period.
Armed with an Engineering Degree from the University of Ife, Frank began his career with Shell in 1972 and over a span of 30 years, worked in various capacities with a variety of assignments in several of Shell’s upstream locations around the world. He held varied responsibilities in the Acquisition and Divestment Organization, with accountability for the successful divestment of some of Shell’s Assets between 2007 and 2010. From September 2010 to June 2013, Frank had accountability for the delivery of Information Technology and Telecommunication Services for Shell’s operations in Sub-Saharan Africa. He also represented Shell in the Olokola Liquified Natural Gas (OKLNG) Project as the General Manager, Commercial.
In the period leading to his appointment at Neconde, Frank’s interest was in Gas-to-Power and the completion and commissioning of the power plants being constructed under the Nigerian Integrated Power Value Plant (NIPP) Scheme. He still keenly follows developments across the entire Power Value Chain.
With extensive experience in Oil and Gas Operations, Project Management, Information Technology Management, Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, New Business Development, Board Level Management, Formulation and Deployment of Government Policy etc., Frank’s goal is to help bring meaningful change to bear in the Oil and Gas and Energy sectors in Nigeria.
Ifeanyi Ezuka joined Neconde in 2012. He has 17 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry with various technical and senior positions. His experience spans through leadership, management, commercial, technical and operations aspects of the upstream oil and gas industry. He has led and participated extensively in Subsurface, Field Development and Production Operations activities while serving in various capacities in Schlumberger, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and Afren Plc.
Ifeanyi holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Petroleum Engineering and Master of Science degree Petroleum & Gas Engineering from Federal University of Technology Owerri and University of Salford. His is an Alumnus of Athabasca University Business Faculty. An active SPE member and primary author to over seven SPE technical papers.
A Finance and Business professional with over 31 years experience in the upstream oil & gas industry. He graduated in 1979 with a Bsc. in Economics and Accounting from Hull University, UK. After accounting practice with BDO Stoy Hayward in London, he joined Chevron UK in 1981 where he held many senior Finance positions until 1997, specializing in joint ventures including strong operations and increasing international focus. After spells in Turkmenistan and Angola, he joined Baker Hughes and then Moni Pulo Ltd. in 1999 as Head of Finance in Lagos and Port Harcourt. He subsequently moved to work with new start-up companies in Lagos as Head of Finance with Anadarko Ltd. (2006-2007) and Centrica Plc. (2008-2009), before joining Afren Plc. (2010-2012) as Head of Internal Control. He joined Neconde Energy Limited in April 2012.
Eberechukwu Oji joined Neconde in March 2019.
He has 24 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas sector. A Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers and a Chattered Engineer armed with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) Warwick University, UK, a Masters in Technology Petroleum Engineering, Curtin University, Australia, a Masters in Engineering (MEng) Electrical & Electronics Engineering and a Bachelors in Engineering (BEng) Electrical & Electronics Engineering,
Prior to joining Neconde, his Fields of experience included: Upstream and Midstream Oil & Gas Senior executive leadership, Operations Management of Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) plant, Regional Discipline Manager for Maintenance for Shell Companies in Nigeria and Gabon. Asset Manager for SPDC Central Hub Asset with over 1.2bscf/d of gas production and 50kbopd oil producing facilities. Major Project Management as Operations Readiness Lead for Offshore, Maintenance, HSE and Logistics in Kashagan Project Kazakhstan. Global Field Development Consultant with significant front-end field development experience with projects in the Netherlands, UK, Norway, Singapore, Australia, United States, Bangalore etc. His fields of experience cover: Field Operations, Facility Maintenance, Well Intervention, Gas plant operations, Compressor station operations amongst others.
Ifeyinwa Obi-Udu joined Neconde in August 2017
She is a certified HSE professional with 22 years’ experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry. She has vast experience in developing and implementing HSE Management Systems (HSE-MS) and Quality Management systems (QMS).
She holds a NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (IdipNebosh)- Warwick University Coventry - UK, Nebosh International General Certificate (IGC) – UK, a Graduate Member (IOSH), Institute of Occupational Safety and Health UK, Certified OHSAS 18001 Lead auditor (IRCA) and Environmental Management System. She has a first degree in Microbiology, PGD in Environmental Toxicology and Waste Management - Federal University of Technology Owerri and a Masters Degree in Environmental Management - Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka.
Prior to Joining Neconde, she was the Quality Health Safety Security and Environmental Manager (QHSSE Manager) and Management representative for Ray International skills Development LLC, Ghala, Muscat, Oman, Middle East, a Senior HSE Supervisor where she worked on various projects in different fields and Operations (Land asset for Shell Petroleum Development company (SPDC)). She worked with Tudaka Environmental Consultant LTD on the Environmental Compliance Monitoring for Shell Petroleum Development Company flow stations (swamp and Land) and Osubi Airstrip as Project Manager. She is also a Waste Management Champion, Hearts and Minds champion for behavioral Safety and a competent HSE Instructor/Trainer.
Ifeyinwa has much flair for Health, Safety and Environment and upholds ‘Duty of care’ to every staff and the work environment by providing effective HSE leadership through team involvement, visibility and practical application of quality HSE knowledge.
