    Monday Raymond Okoro

    Managing Director

    Monday is the Managing Director and CEO of Neconde Energy Limited (45% equity Partner in the world class OML 42 Asset in the Niger Delta Petroleum basin of Nigeria). Prior to joining Neconde January 2022, he held several senior executive positions in Schlumberger that included Vice President Schlumberger Production Management in Paris, Schlumberger president for Artificial Lift Production Technologies and Services based in Singapore, President & CEO of Geoservices SA based in France, Vice President Schlumberger Drilling Group in Paris, Schlumberger CEO for West, South, Central and East African countries based in Angola. He also served as Schlumberger Vice President of Personnel in Paris, Schlumberger Drilling & Measurements Vice President for Middle East and Asia, Schlumberger Recruiting Manager in Paris and Schlumberger  District Manager in Warri.

    His broad industry experience spans Africa, Asia Pacific, C.I.S, Europe, South America, North America, and the Middle East. His functional experience cut across multi-disciplines including Field Operations, Drilling Engineering, Integrated project management, Integrated Field development planning and execution, Finance management, Human Resources Management, Manufacturing, Product development, Technology management, Strategy Management, Mergers & Acquisition, Structured Project Finance, Management of Health, Safety, Security & Environment, Sustainability, Marketing and General Management. He has also served on the board of several alliances and joint ventures in different countries. Trained as a petroleum engineer at the University of Ibadan, he joined Schlumberger as a Field Engineer in Port-Harcourt, Nigeria. Monday has held several technical positions within Schlumberger including Drilling planning Engineer in Port Harcourt, and Engineering Services manager in Lagos, Prior to joining Schlumberger, Monday began his industry experience with Shell in Port-Harcourt as a Well Site Petroleum Engineer in charge of drilling and workover operations between 1990 and 1992.

    Monday is a Sloan Fellow of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology having completed the MIT Sloan Fellows Program in Innovation & Global Leadership in June of 2007, holder of the Financial Times (FT) Level 7 Non-Executive Director Diploma from London UK.

    He is happily married with three children, enjoys family time, and engages in sporting activities to maintain fitness.

    Happiness Ifeyinwa Ufomadu

    Chief Technical Officer

    Happiness is a seasoned Petroleum Engineer with over 27 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry as an Asset management practitioner with a broad base of technical and managerial expertise.

    Over these years, she has built a reputation as a subject matter expert (SME) in Reserves Assessment and Governance, Subsurface Analysis, Production Engineering, Third Party Financed Projects management, Strategic and Business Planning, Asset Development and Asset Management.

    A graduate of Petroleum Engineering from the University of Ibadan, she joined Texaco Overseas as a Log Analyst in 1995.

    She moved on to Chevron after the Chevron-Texaco merger where she held positions of increasing responsibilities working across multiple RM (reservoir management) functions and groups. Her Asset development and management experience spans across multiple terrains ranging from Land, Swamp, near-Shore and Offshore Assets and facilities; including brown fields under waterflood.

    She also held management roles in the Strategy and Planning division responsible for managing the Deepwater portfolios and JV Third-Party Funded Projects, with extensive experience around Stakeholders and Partner relationship management.

    She holds an executive MBA from the Lagos Business School. She is also a member of SPE, NSE and COREN.

    Chichi Emenike

    Head, Gas Ventures

    Chichi has over twenty (20) years experience in the Oil and Gas spanning across the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors. Her capabilities cut across diverse spectrums including but not limited to business development and strategy, engineering, project conceptualization & management, deals structuring, stakeholder management, technical procurement and overall contract administration.

    She holds a B.Eng in Chemical Engineering from Enugu State University of Science & Technology and an MBA in Oil & Gas Management from the prestigious Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. She is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Association of Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria (APWEN) and a certified member with the Council for The Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

    Chichi started her early career in the Nigerian Oil & Gas industry as a Project Engineer with Exxon Mobil Nigeria Limited where she garnered cutting edge industry skills and experiences over a 10 year period. She moved on to other organizations where she gathered diverse experience across the entire industry value chain. She is well-versed in negotiating industry contracts and has strong track records of closing commercial deals with venture partners as well as being versatile in structuring and financing of projects to ensure optimum value creation for all stakeholders.

    Presently, Chichi is replicating her success strides in Neconde Energy Limited as the Head, Gas Ventures where she is responsible for driving the company’s Gas business and positioning Neconde as a lead player for developing Gas supply in Nigeria. Also, Chichi is piloting the development and commercialization of Neconde’s Associated Gas (AG) and Non-Associated Gas (NAG) to boost production in alignment with the company’s strategic mandate of being responsible for about 12% of Nigeria’s total domestic Gas supply. One of her main and core is the focus around unlocking the company’s Gas potential of over 3.8tcf of Gas reserves for increase value optimization for growth and profitability. In her present capacity, she is also facilitating the investment drive to bring alignment and consolidate Neconde’s huge gas portfolio.

    Currently, she serves on the council of the Nigerian Gas Association (NGA) in the capacity of a Financial Secretary.
